This straightener is awesome! I have really thin and sensitive, wavy hair, and all of the other straighteners I've used just made my hair REALLY frizzy, or even burn it! The worst part was, they didn't even straighten my hair one bit!!! This straightener is the only one that worked really well so far. I've been using it every day for a while now. My hair stays straight ALL day. It even added more shine, smoothness, softness,and even VOLUME to my hair! no other straightener has ever done that. I'm sure that there's better straighteners out there but this one works great and is at an affordable price.

It was difficult at first to get the wet-to-straight thing down, but I finally did manage to get this iron to work on wet hair; the trick for me was not going too fast and waiting in between passes a bit to let the iron get back up to temperature. Unfortunately, it is, of course, necessary to set the iron at a higher temperature when using it on wet hair, and so it's probably necessary to pay attention and turn it down a bit after the hair gets dry so you don't damage it as much.

Use the Remington T3 Tourmaline flatiron on 410 degrees (don't pull it through too slowly---that's very hot). Then when finished, spray a glossing spray on your dry hair and rub it down. FINISHED and your hair will be BEAUTIFUL!! I've gotten soooooo many compliments on my hair since I bought these two pieces of equipment and started straightening this way. I have been SEARCHING for 20 years for an effective way to straighten that doesn't take forever or prevent me from having my morning shower.

I'm growing my hair out, so I decided to get a 2in this time around. I'd heard good things about ceramic and tourmaline so I decided on this one, mostly because of the price. For what I paid, I'm really pleased. I'm African-American and my hair is thick with tight ringlets, and after blow drying I was impressed with how well it straightened my hair. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it still doesn't get my hair as shiny and straight as my old H2Pro. I did notice that my hair seems to have held a lot more moisture with this particular straightener. It heats up really quickly, and I love the lock feature.

This was a great purchase! I also have a triple barrel iron. I got this one because I wanted bigger, beachier waves. This works perfect and is easier to use. I have very thin, super straight hair. Usually, my hair does not hold a curl at all. With this, the waves last all day and night and even look good the next day. It is very quick to do and makes my hair look so much thicker. I did my sister's the hair the other day and now she wants one for Christmas.

My wife wanted a new triple barrel waver iron to replace her Revlon iron that was lost in the move. We had gone to different shops and she looked online. You name it, she searched it. There was a waver iron she found in the mall but it was $50! She refused to pay that much for it. I suggested she look on Amazon and low and behold, she found this Bed Head triple barrel waver iron. She fell in love, especially because the handle is her favorite color (she calls it electric blue). She had to have it. $30 isn't steep at all, let alone the fact that she got within 4 days from placing the order. Needless to say, she is happy!

I have fine, wavy/curly hair, chin length, and alternate between flat ironing and going 'natural'. I have used 'regular' curling irons with mixed success, because I like the spiral effect and more lift at the scalp, so I thought this cone shape would help accomplish a better look.

It has no clamp, nothing to hold the hair on the surface, you just take a piece of hair and twist it around the barrel, twisting down toward the narrower tip, hold for a few seconds. (It is best to have some gel or product in your hair - especially if your hair is fine and needs protection from the heat).

It does heat up quite quickly, as advertised.

A minor negative is that the on/off button was placed in a poorly planned position on the wand, and the button is too sensitive, a mere touch and you have shut the thing off mid curl. I have done that several times.


It was fairly easy to master on my left side, as I am right handed; when I got to my right side, and have to 'twist' with my non dominant hand -- I am finding it really tricky. Forget about doing the back, that is just too hard. I suggest using a different method for the back, another curling iron or hot curlers, or whatever, if your hair is shorter particularly.

This device was given as a present and works well, is handled by my 7 year old grandaughter with no adverse effects one might associate with something that gets hot in temperature and can burn if not careful but we knew our grandchild's parents would decide properly on how or who used it on her hair.

I have been using it for two years and it
is still in impecable condition....and best yet....my hair is looking great.
My daughter and I use it daily and we are both satisfied.
I wish all CHI products would come with an auto shut off system when the iron is not in motion for a set amount of time. It moved through my hair easily while doing a great job with straightening. The only difference that I do not like is that it is a 35W instead of 40W like my old Chi. Also, when Amazon advertises that it is an ionic product it is misleading. No where on the original Chi does it say it is ionic. There is however, an ionic iron made by infraTECH by Chi. It is not this one.
I think this Chi will do fine. I can only hope the product wasn't cheapened and will last as long as my first one. This was bought from Customer First through Amazon. They were very fast in their delivery.

It beats the 'cheapies' hands down. I also like it because it is thin! I thought (in my ignorance) using a larger iron would be easier, but not so. Its much easier to use this one. Plus... It comes in a limited edition pink style if you like that sort of thing (which I do). I also love this iron because its really easy to curl the ends of your hair. Just twist and go.

I only had to go over each part of my hair once and I was done, so i stopped trying to blow dry my hair to get rid of the frizz, because the straightner would do it. But after about 6 months the straightener stopped getting as hot as it did at first, and now I have to go over each peice about 3-5 times instead of just once. And beware any heat protection product get the panels all dirty and sticky and make it work worse. So take care of it. It also gives you split ends, so use conditioner and moisterizing shampoo if you plan to use it everyday or a lot. Also all of the stuff about being able to curl or get the ends to flip the way you want is almost impossible for one person and even if you have help it is still difficult.

i'd wanted a chi for a long time, but it wasn't until recently that i finally decided to break down and buy one. this deep brilliance chi was the cheapest chi i could find online ANYWHERE (barring others with terrible reviews that i wouldn't even consider). i was pretty apprehensive about the "deep brilliance" aspect of it, because i thought it may be too powerful for my hair or just not the right make for it (my hair is thick, but only slightly wavy and not too terrible to manage).

Results are great and fast since it gets very HOT! However the plates are not the only thing that gets hot, but the whole flat iron does which makes it sometimes hard to get a grip of. I also noticed that this flat iron isn't as heavy as my previous ones which makes me doubt the quality of the product but so far so good.

I debated about which curling iron to get, and I saw nothing but good reviews for the Hot Tools brand. I wanted something long-lasting, in comparison to the Conair 1-1/2 ceramic barrel curing iron I had, which lasted about 3 years. I mistaken my old curling iron for a 1 inch barrel, so that led me to buy the 1 inch Hot Tools curling iron. I was happy with my 1-1/2, because with my long, thick hair, it gave me loose waves for a more casual look. But in no way am I regretting my accidental purchase, because I'm able to create the same look from that of the 1-1/2 inch curling iron. But now, I also have the option to make tighter curls, which is a plus. While I've only had the product for two hours, I can tell after its first use that this is much different from the rest. Absolutely no hair was stuck to the curling iron, and the curls are smooth.

This curling iron heats up quickly and is great because of the various heat settings. The cord does tend to tangle but not nearly as often as my old one. It is also much longer. Very durable and I would buy it again.

It heats up super quickly, has so many settings and a turbo heat button for an extra shot of heat on hard to curl areas. I use it in the morning to straighten out kinks from sleeping, straighten and smooth my hair, flip it under or out, or add some waves. It has a nice long cord, too. I think a brush is less damaging than a curling iron because there's no clamp and you don't hold it in the same place as long. If you haven't tried a brush, this is the one to try. Note that this is a brush that heats up, NOT a brush that blows hot air - it's for use on dry hair only.

I love the way my hair looks when I just come out of the salon and this hot brush comes really close to giving me that look. It's great because it has a plastic tip that you can hold onto to help with the curling without burning yourself. You can also get pretty close to the scalp to tame those little fly-away hairs without burning your face or scalp as well. My only peeves were that it does not get as hot as I'd like it to and my hair is not as smooth as I thought it would be, it leaves my hair kinda frizzy at first. It gives really nice soft curls though.

I use this one specifically because I used to color my hair and still have some color left and my hair needs the extra moisture. My hair is also thick, curly and down to the middle of my back so good shampoo is a must. This is the only shampoo and conditioner for me! My hair dresser recommended this brand because my hair had the textrue of damaged hair even though there was no reason for my hair to be damaged. Love this shampoo, it smells great, you need a small amount and your hair is clean and fresh. Also use a sulfate free leave in poduct before you flat iron. Your hair is healthy and smooth. Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner are amazing. The scent is exotic and delicious, and the products leave your hair soft and shiny. I have found using the shampoo and conditioner has improved the condition of my hair over all. I think it you have fine hair using them every day could end up weighing your hair down, but using them a couple times a week has worked great for me.

Its a really good product. Leaves hair smelling good. Non-sticky/residue. Clwan. Keeps my hair feeling soft. Have used this product before. Four stars for the price. But my hair is also chemically treated with a keratin so I really wanted to get it.

I've been using Nizoral for a couple of years with good results. Suddenly my local stores were out of it and I was not yet aware of the factory-move caused shortage. Anything I can't find locally I can usually get from Amazon; checked the site and Amazon usually has 5 bottles of the 7oz. size Nizoral for $59.99 (12 bucks a bottle is a little better than my local price) but it was not available. In the UK the 1% shampoo is branded Nizorelle instead of Nizoral, whereas the 2% strength is called Nizoral there. The price of Nizorelle is still very reasonable so if you have to get ahold of this I'd look on ebay and the like to buy a small bottle or two to tide you over until U.S. supply is restored.
Regenepure DR would be an alternate product that's sold by some sellers right here on Amazon, unfortunately it's also rather expensive but not a $40+ ripoff. The very cheapest alternative I could find containing Ketoconazole was oddly, pet shampoo, but the problem is that those also contain somewhat harsh anti-bacterial agents like chlorhexidine, and may also make for plain lousy human shampoos.

Online sellers everywhere are taking advantage of the temporary shortage to price-gouge unwary customers. Some sellers are falsely claiming that this product has been discontinued to create uncertainty and increase prices.

We just have to be patient. If you must have this shampoo immediately, you should call Johnson and Johnson's at 1 (800) 962-5357 to find out where you can buy it at a local store near you. While all the online sellers are price-gouging people, the local stores (if they have the product in stock) are selling it at regular retail prices.

But I found that if I wash thoroughly and use generous portions the results are amazing. You must use generous portions, leave on for 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Here's the thing with Wen, it alone is not a miracle. But it is gentle, moisturizing, healthy for your hair, and it helps a LOT. For me, with very dense, thick, course hair, Wen cleanses it without stripping, which means you naturally go down to 2-3 shampoos per week. Using sulfates that strip your hair makes your scalp produce more sebum in an attempt to replace the moisture, and that's how you end up with oily hair that is gross, limp and needs to be washed daily. When you use Wen, you don't produce so much sebum and your hair stays awesome for a good 2-3 days before needing another wash. You can tell because it feels clean when you run your fingers through, especially close to your scalp. So for this, it's amazing.

Next to that is you are cleansing with moisture, so that has added benefits as well. For my hair, Wen's moisture doesn't seem to penetrate, though. It just lays on the surface. Great for cleansing, but not deeply conditioning. So for deeper moisture, I do a hot oil treatment once a week. I use Ojon and stick a thermal cap on. The heat makes the oil penetrate deeply, and then I wash out twice with Wen, and it's luscious, moisturized, and gorgeous. Seriously, I was the bad hair freak all my life and now I look like a movie star. For real. Literally. Like Alyssa Milano. People comment on my hair and want to touch it all the time. It's become a spectacle of beauty.

Ever since no other product is a match for this hair care line. My hair suffered dramatic changes from black to blond, to redhead and back to black. I'm also a swimmer and I have to shower everyday. Now I live in Italy and the water is really hard here as it contains a ggod amount of limeware. I use this product to protect my hair and keep it healthy, shiny, and hydrated.

I started using this product on recommendation from my colorist. I went from blond to dark brown and was having trouble keeping the color. I was pretty doubtful about paying so much money for shampoo, but decided to give it a try. Wow! My hair has never felt so silky or been so shiny! I was only using Demi permanent color and it was staying in for a couple of months. And the 64 oz bottles last me about 6 months and I use it pretty liberally.
I haven't colored my hair for over a year now. So when I recently ran out of my last bottles, I bought several "premium" drugstore brands trying to save money. Big mistake...my hair felt stripped and dry from the first use. It was so bad that I didn't even want to touch it. So, I just ordered more Pureology. Even if I'm not coloring my hair, I'm not going to waste my money (or my hair's health) on cheap, soap based products ever again.

I know this is a little pricey for shampoo and conditioner but honestly, it is SO worth it. Literally a dime sized amount lathers so well that that is all you need! Although, if you are like me you will end up using the shampoo three times before moving to the conditioner because it is so addicting, my hair has never felt so clean and I color it and this shampoo contains zero sulfates to strip the color so if you color your hair you will save money in getting it done less! Now the conditioner, this is the part that caused me to stay in the shower an extra 20 minutes, it is a great peppermint smell and you can feel it tingling on your scalp, like the shampoo.

The recommendation is that you use Neutrogena Shampoo Anti-Residue, every week, to clear out the gunk left over from previous shampoos and conditioners. Though, the smell is a little on the strong side, I know it gets the job done. Use it, as needed, to provide excellent results, in between the times you use your everyday shampoo and conditioner combination. I am always using product to keep my curls organized and not frizzy. This shampoo definitely does what it says - after I use it my hair looks great. I know when it's time to shampoo with it when my hair looks tiered or not as full. If you use a lot of styling product and have a problem with build-up, I would recommend giving this a try. I can't find it in my local Wal-Mart any more, so I am so happy to have found it here, and the price is great too!

The vast majority of the time, my straightened hair would become wavy if I slept on it, if it got hit with any kind of moisture, or sometimes just as the day went on. Not with this iron; my hair is beautifully pin-straight (a real first for the ends not to curl up at all) even after I sleep on it, and it saves me a ton of time from not needing to restraighten it the next day. I usually use irons on the highest setting (my old iron went up to 410 degrees), but that same temp on this iron was far too hot, to the risk of burning the ends. It's nice to have the option of all the temperatures since I'm sure certain types of hair require the hotter setting.

It takes me 15-20 minutes, which is a solid time but not as fast as I had hoped with the big plates. I do feel like it's easy to burn your scalp with the exposed siding, or even just the expulsion of steam as the plates move, but it just calls to be careful.

It does exactly what it says, nice beachy waves and the handle is a pretty turquoise shade that puts me in a good mood :) However, the only downside is that it heats up too much too fast! I have normal hair and i have to be very careful not to leave it on for too long or it will burn and damage (i use heat protection spray ALWAYS). Also, be careful when handling this product and curling around the face area because it will burn! I tried different heat settings but it's always the same issue. I got this one because I wanted bigger, beachier waves. This works perfect and is easier to use. I have very thin, super straight hair. Usually, my hair does not hold a curl at all. With this, the waves last all day and night and even look good the next day. It is very quick to do and makes my hair look so much thicker.

There is a pamphlet with the iron that says it's a styling guide. It is basic directions. Iron has 3 settings. Low ~ For Fine Hair, Medium ~ For Normal to Medium Hair, & High For Thick, or Course Hair. I set the iron on High for my hair type. Breifly put the hair dryer to my hair again with the vent brush to loosen my hair up as I had had it pulled up for work and there were lines in my hair from the bands used. I then pulled the top part of my hair up on top of my head, and began using the waver on the underlying layers of hair first. I used another reviewers tip and put the flatter portion of the iron on the top side of my hair and moved the waver over it section by section. It took me about 20 minutes to do my entire head which is even faster than using the Instyler.

The product image and the description on amazon for this product is controversial. We wanted to offer only " REDKEN ALL SOFT CONDITIONER FOR DRY BRITTLE HAIR 33.8 OZ". The picture on amazon says only Conditioner and the description says both. If you want, we can send the prepaid return label to you and you can send that wrong item back to us. It smells so good and it works so well . You only need a small amount because it foams up , however if you use to much it won't make your hair greasy. These big bottles work best , and i promise you will become addicted , the hair instantly feels and looks way softer, also the shine is incredible , it takes whatever colour your hair is to the next level. I have very damaged corse hair , and went through a stage where i lost 50% of my hair due to chemical straightening gone bad , and this product saved it .

I have not been dissatisfied with the get itself. Very little to no smell, no flaking, and it has a great hold. It is also a great value since I probably go through a 16.9 ounce bottle every six months instead of two-three weeks for regular sized gels at the grocery store. I would normally give this product a perfect 5 star rating but only gave it 4 stars because of the container itself. Previous containers had a twist off top where the whole top of the container opens up not just the pump section. Great especially if you want to get the last drops of gel before you discard the bottle. But with the last bottle I got one where the bottle only opens through the pump portion. Definitely harder to access the last few drops.

I have gone thru countless stores to try to find the perfect gel. My hair is straight and thick, after my hair is washed and dried it looks like a Chia pet head, thick and soft. The gels that I would buy would sometimes not last long enough thru the day or be that strong holding, and sometimes I have to use so much as to make my hair look like I dipped it in a barrel of oil. With this gel I only need to use a nickle sized amount and my hair stays and looks good for about 15 hrs.
